Lauren Lohman has been a working photographer since 2009. A native of Louisiana, Lohman received her BFA from Louisiana State University. Currently residing in Texas, she received her MFA at the University of Houston and has since focused her career on Arts Education and Arts Management within the schools and institutions of Houston and its surrounding areas. She joined the faculty of Lone Star College in early 2026.
Lohman has a background in traditional/historical printing processes as well as digital media and prints. Her work ranges from abstract darkroom photography to cellular digital prints.
